The regulations governing out Designation of origin accept the following VARIETIES<\/strong> for  \u201cTierra del Vino\u201d wines:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PRINCIPAL VARIETIES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Red: Tempranillo<\/p>\n\n\n\n

White: Malvas\u00eda,  fine grain Moscatel and Verdejo<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AUTHORISED<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Red: Garnacha and Cabernet-Sauvignon<\/p>\n\n\n\n

White: Albillo and Palomino<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The most common plant density for low Bush vines is 3,00 x 3,00, and 3,00 x 1,50 for trellis vines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The percentaje of trellis vines represents 30,39% of the total amount of registeres vines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The average age of the vines registered with our Governing body is 65 years.<\/p>\n\n\n

In Accordance with the regulations \u201cTierra del Vino\u201d Denomination of origin includes de following types of WINE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

WHITE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Made from de accepted White varieties, at least 60% of which must be principal varieties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CLARETE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Made from de accepted varieties, including at least 30% Tempranillo and a m\u00e1ximum of 40% of the authorised varieties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ROSE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Made from de accepted varieties, including at least 60% of the Tempranillo variety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RED<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Made from de accepted varieties, including at least 75% of the Tempranillo variety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These wines may be subjected to ageing process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the case of red wines, our Governing Body regulates the use of the terms \u201cCrianza, Reserva y Gran Reserva\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The m\u00ednimum ageing periods and ageing in casks respectively are 24 and 6 months for Crianza wines, 36 and 12 months for Reserva wines, and 60 and 18 months for Gran Reserva wines.<\/p>\n\n\n
